LA VLOG Part 1: Hollywood, Universal Studios, Melrose, Museums

Last month (yes, it took me a while to post this) I visited the lovely city of Los Angeles, California with my travel partner from last year's trip. We did so many things every day that I had to split the vlog in two parts, not to mention we have a thousand photos in every cute spot we found.

El mes pasado (sí, me tomó buen rato publicar esto) visité la linda ciudad de Los Ángeles, California con mi acompañante de viaje del año pasado. Hicimos tantas cosas cada día que tuve que dividir el vlog en dos partes, sin mencionar que tenemos miles de fotos en cada lugar bonito que encontrábamos.

DAY 1 - HOLLYWOOD

We spent the first day walking around Hollywood trying to find as many stars as we could (the ones of the floor, not celebrities, although that would have been nice, right?). We went into a few museums like the Wax and Ripley's, had lunch at Central Market, walked around a book shop and had ice cream before the day ended.

Pasamos el primer día caminando por Hollywood tratando de encontrar entre más estrellas podíamos (me refiero a las del piso, no a celebridades, aunque eso hubiera estado bien, ¿verdad?). Fuimos a algunos museos como el de cera y Ripley's, comimos en Central Market, caminamos por una librería y comimos helado antes de que el día terminara.

DAY 2 - UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Last year we went to Orlando and visited the Universal Studios there. The most surprising thing to me was that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter looked exactly the same, only this one seemed a bit bigger. We arrived a little late but we still managed to go through every attraction we wanted, luckily the park wasn't as crowded as we thought so the waiting lines were rather fast.

El año pasado fuimos a Orlando y visitamos los Universal Studios allá. Lo más impresionante para mí fue que el Wizarding World of Harry Potter se veía exactamente igual, sólo que este parecía un poco más grande. Llegamos poquito tarde pero aún así alcanzamos a entrar a todas las atracciones que queríamos, por suerte el parque no estaba tan lleno como pensábamos y las filas de espera eran algo rápidas.

DAY 3 - VISITING MUSEUMS

One of the things that we were the most excited about was getting in the Infinity Mirrored Room at The Broad. Everything in the entire museum is beautiful, especially if you're more into modern art. Later that day we went again to Central Market (we were quite the fans as you can tell) and then headed over to LACMA for more cultural action and a typical blogger photoshoot at the Urban Light sculpture.

Una de las cosas por las que más estábamos emocionadas era de entrar a la Infinity Mirrored Room en the Broad. Todo en el museo es hermoso, en especial si te gusta más el arte moderno. Más tarde ese día volvimos otra vez a Central Market (éramos las más fanáticas como pueden ver) y luego nos dirigimos a LACMA para más acción cultural y la típica sesión de fotos en la escultura Urban Light.

DAY 4 - MELROSE & SKYSLIDE

The day before we had an awesome Uber girl who drove us to a lot street art near the museums and she recommended a few places to visit if we were going to melrose. The Urth Cafe was one of those places so we decided to have lunch in there. The place had really good food, considering the fact that we had eaten mostly junk for the past three days. We walked by Melrose all afternoon, grabbed a coffee at the Carrera Cafe (must visit if you're a monochrome lover) and ended at the Sky Space for a crystal slide.

El día anterior nos tocó una chica en Uber súper cool que nos llevó por todos los murales que estaban cerca de los museos y nos recomendó lugares para visitar si íbamos a estar en melrose. El Urth Cafe fue uno de esos sitios y decidimos comer ahí. El lugar tenía muy buena comida, considerando el hecho de que habíamos estado comiendo muy mal los últimos tres días. Caminamos por Melrose toda la tarde, tomamos un café en Carrera Cafe (tienes que ir si amas lo monocromático) y terminamos en el Sky Space para la resbaladilla de cristal.
