Debo confesar que soy una loca apasionada del maquillaje. Desde muy chica, me encantaba entrar a las tiendas y probarme todo el maquillaje posible, incluso cuando ni sabía cómo se usaba correctamente (debo admitir que más de una vez usé corrector como base en toda mi cara y yo me sentía, bueno, “SUPERSTAR” jaja).
I must confess that I'm crazy passionate about the beauty world. Since I was a little girl, I used to love to try all the makeup in stores, even when I didn't know how it was supposed to be used (I must admit that I wore concealer as a foundation numerous times and I felt, well, like a superstar!).
Fui creciendo y me fui metiendo más en este mundo de belleza, poco a poco conociendo más de los diferentes productos y usos de éstos. Hoy puedo decir que tengo ya más de 4 años como maquillista profesional y cada maquillaje que hago es para mí muy emocionante. Hoy en día, con tantos productos que existen en el mercado, es importante identificar qué es indispensable para ti y qué es lo que tu necesitas para sentirte bella y segura. Al final del día el maquillaje es para eso, para expresarte y sentirte especial.
As I grew older I kept getting more into the beauty world, slowly getting to know more about different products and their use. Today I can say that I've been a professional makeup artist for 4 years and every look I create is something exciting to me. Nowadays, with all the products on the market, it's important to identify which are your essentials and what you need to feel pretty and confident. In the end, makeup exists for that, to express yourself and make you feel special.
Hoy les quiero compartir algunos de mis favoritos productos que se han convertido en un MUST de mi makeup bag. Como les dije en un principio, muchas veces menos es más, y es por esto que he tratado de hacer mi rutina de diario lo más eficiente, práctica y sencilla posible. A pesar de que en los fines de semana o en eventos soy una drama-queen- glam makeup girl que ama un maquillaje espectacular, entre semana, opto por un look más luminoso, fresco y sutil.
Today I want to share with you some of my favorite products that have become a must in my makeup bag. As I said above, most of the times less is more, and this is why I have managed to make my daily routine more efficient, practical, and simple. Even though I prefer a drama-queen-glam spectacular makeup on the weekends, I go for a more natural, luminous, fresh, and subtle look for weekdays.
Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Acid Skin Tint SPF 15
Este skin tint es fácilmente mi favorito de absolutamente todos los que he probado. Tiene una consistencia y un acabado como ningún otro y deja mi piel viéndose sana, luminosa y simplemente espectacular. Es perfecta para el día a día por lo fácil que es aplicarla. Además me encanta que tiene FPS porque me protege contra los rayos del sol.
This skin tint is easily my favorite of all the ones that I've tried. It has a unique consistency and finish that leaves my skin looking healthy, luminous and simply spectacular. It's perfect for day to day because it's easy to apply. I also love that it contains SPF which protects me from sun light.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
Este se ha convertido en mi mejor amigo. Me acompaña a todos lados, a todas horas y en todo momento. Incluso hay días que no quiero usar nada más que este corrector para tapar mis ojeras intensas después de una noche de estudio. Me encanta como se aplica y su nivel de cobertura.
This has become my best friend. It comes with me everywhere all the time and in every moment. There are even days when I don't wear anything other than this concealer to cover up my under eye bags after a long night studying. I love how it applies and its coverage level.
Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil
Amo que es un lápiz para ceja que además tiene cepillo incluido. El lápiz tiene una punta súper delgada por lo que se vuelve muy fácil dar la impresión de una ceja bien delineada, o bien, una ceja muy sutil con pelitos muy bien acomodados. El cepillo, además de peinar la ceja, ayuda a difuminar el producto para un acabado natural.
I love that this brow pencil has a built-in brush. The pencil has a very fine tip that can help with giving the impression of a more defined brow or a subtle look with well-spread hairs. The spoolie, besides grooming the brows, helps to blend out the product for a natural look. 
Becca Sunlit Bronzer in Bronzed Bondi
Este bronceador me fascina porque tiene un brillo muy ligero el cual brinda un look bronceado a tu piel, sin ser exagerado. Amo la luminosidad y color que me da este producto cada vez que lo aplico. Si el Verano fuera un polvo bronceador, éste lo sería.
I love this bronzer because it has a subtle glow in it which makes the skin look bronzed but not exaggerated. I love the luminosity and color that it brings to skin when I apply it. If Summer were a powder, this would be it.
Maybelline Master Blush Color And Highlight Kit
Este kit es perfecto, tiene 3 rubores: uno rosa salmón, uno rosa brillante y otro rosa más oscuro y frío. Casi siempre elijo el blush dependiendo de mi mood del día o en base a la ropa que traigo puesta. Incluso en los días que no me decido paso mi brocha por los tres y queda lindísimo. El iluminador tiene un brillo super lindo que puedes usar todos los días.
This kit is perfect, it has 3 blushes: a salmon pink, a bright pink, and another darker and cool tone shade. I normally pick the one that goes with my mood of the day or the clothes that I'm wearing. Even on days when I can't decide I swipe my brush across all the shades and it looks really nice. The highlighter has a really nice glow that you can wear every day.
Benefit Girl Meets Pearl Highlighter
Este producto es como mi comodín, no siempre lo uso pero siempre lo tengo en mi bolsa por su tamaño mini que no quita espacio. Hay días que no quiero nada más que un brillo muy sutil para levantar un poco mi piel y éste es ideal para hacerlo. Si quiero un brillo adicional me lo pongo abajo de mi iluminador en polvo para hacerlo extra luminoso, y si quiero un brillo lindo para todos los días, tomo un poco con mi dedo y lo aplico dando golpecitos en el área que quiera resaltar.
I always carry this product in my bag because of its mini size but I don't always use it. There are days when I don't want anything other than a subtle glow to pick up my complexion and this one's perfect for that. If I want an extra glow I wear it as a base before my powder highlighter to amp it up, and if I want something for everyday wear I take a bit with my finger
and pat it on on the areas that I want to emphasize.
Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara
Yo solo les voy a decir una cosa: esta es la mejor máscara de pestañas en el mundo. Lo he dicho. No me retracto. Seguiré diciendo esto hasta el día que alguien pueda comprobarme lo contrario. No les voy a decir mucho porque no quiero que suene exagerado. Solo cómprenla, pruébenla ¡y denme las gracias!
I'm just going to say one thing: this is the best mascara in the world. I've said it and I won't take it back. I'll keep saying it until someone can prove me wrong. I won't say much because I don't want to sound overrated. Just buy it, try it, and thank me later!
Lancôme Matte Shaker - Energy Peach
Últimamente he estado amando usar mi matte shaker porque su fórmula es la más cómoda de usar. Deja un color bellísimo, tiene una textura como ninguna otra, no se siente pesada, y la presentación está extremadamente lindo! Hay muchísimos colores pero yo uso Energy Peach religiosamente por que siento que es un color que me levanta mucho y es perfecto para esta temporada de Primavera.
Lately I've been loving my matte shaker because it's formula is really comfortable to wear. It leaves a beautiful color, has a texture like no other, it doesn't feel heavy and packaging is super cute. There are a variety of colors but I always go for Energy Peach because it's the color that picks me up and great for the Spring season.
