Although I'm a nude lipstick lover (aren't we all?) I have a soft spot for vibrant and bold colors. Now that it's Summer and my face makeup is much simpler, I find it easier to add a pop of color with a bright lip. These are a few of my favorites.

I think this is the most versatile. It has a kind of red/pink color with a blue undertone, which works with every skin tone. The reason why I think it's versatile it's because it can look good with most looks at any time of the day. A makeup bag staple.

If you're into really intense Summer colors, this is the perfect one for you. It's a very intense and highly pigmented bright orange with a creamy formula. The product sticks to your lips very nicely, I can imagine this being perfect for the beach.

NARS Audacious Lipstick in Michiyo
Surprisingly, I have worn this about twice since I purchased it. Although it's a gorgeous super vivid bubblegum pink, I think it's a tricky color to wear. With this one I feel that it's best to go for an almost bare face with minimum makeup on the eyes. Think of it as the Queen of bright pinks.

All of the Matte Shakers are perfect for the Summer. The range has a few other bright colors but the one that really caught my attention was this vibrant orange that stains the lips intensively. You can also create a gradient lip with the applicator, in case you're looking for a K-beauty effect.

Very similar to Rose Lancôme but a lot more blue toned. Another beautiful bold pink that can work for day and night looks, easy to pair up with a bronzed skin and minimal eye makeup. This is the kind of color that I like to wear with a winged liner and call it a day.
