Skincare Week Day 1 - Face Serums

Today we're starting a series of posts fully dedicated to my skincare. Throughout the week I will be sharing with you my favorite products for every step in my routine, in a total of 7 categories that will be listed at the end of each post. Let's begin with serums, my first step. 

Hoy empezaremos una serie de publicaciones dedicadas especialmente a mi cuidado de piel. A lo largo de la semana les estaré compartiendo mis productos favoritos para cada paso en mi rutina, en un total de 7 categorías que estarán listadas al final de las publicaciones. Comencemos con sueros faciales, mi primer paso. 

When I first got into the beauty world, I never though of skincare as a big deal. Over time, I've realized that the more I take care of my skin, the less makeup I will need to hide my imperfections. Face serums and oils are some of my favorite products because they do so much for the skin with little amount of product and they feel lightweight. 

Cuando recién me introduje al mundo de la belleza, jamás pensé que el cuidado de piel fuera tan importante. Con el tiempo empecé a darme cuenta de que entre más la cuidara, menos maquillaje necesitaría para esconder imperfecciones. Los sueros faciales y aceites son algunos de mis productos favoritos porque hacen mucho por la piel con muy poco producto y se sienten ligeros. 

Clinique Smart Custom Repair Serum

Clinique is definitely my favorite brand in this area and this product is one of the reasons. This concentrate will repair the damaged areas on your skin and make it appear smoother and more even. I wear it by itself because it gives me the feeling of a moisturizer and my skin looks hydrated. 

Clinique es de mis marcas favoritas en esta área sin dudas y este producto es una de las razones. Este concentrado repara lo dañado de la piel y la hace parecer más suave y con tono igualado. La uso por sí sola ya que me da la sensación de una crema facial y mi piel se ve hidratada. 

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum

I received this one as a little sample but I'm looking forward to get the full size bottle. This is a lot more liquidy but provides a lot of radiance to the skin, I like to use only one drop and focus on the areas where I have wrinkles and pigmentation. Unlike my Énergie De Vie (not pictured), I do need to wear a moisturizer afterwards. 

Recibí este como una pequeña muestra pero ya quiero comprar la botella de tamaño normal. Este es mucho más líquido pero le da a la piel mucha luminosidad, me gusta usar sólo una gota y enfocarme en las áreas donde tengo arrugas y pigmentación. Al contrario de mi Énergie De Vie (no en la foto), con éste sí necesito aplicar crema facial después. 

Benefit Instant Comeback Facial Serum

When I'm feeling tired or will travel for a few hours, this is my favorite. I got it a few weeks ago and it came just in time. It plumps the skin and gives you back the hydration that you lose when traveling. Like the previously mentioned products, this also combats dull skin which is what I have most of the times, specially when the weather gets colder. 

Cuando me siento cansada o viajaré por algunas horas, este es mi favorito. Lo recibí hace pocas semanas y llegó justo a tiempo. Nutre mucho la piel y le regresa la hidratación que pierdes al viajar. Como los productos que ya mencioné, este también combate la piel insípida, lo cual es un problema mío la mayoría del tiempo y en especial cuando el clima está más frío. 

The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Concentrate

For a more organic option, Drops Of Youth contains natural ingredients that revitalize your skin and give you a smooth surface with constant use. The formula is a little thicker than the Lancôme serums that I mentioned so I prefer to wear this at night. 

Para una opción más orgánica, Drops Of Youth contiene ingredientes naturales que revitalizan tu piel y te dan una capa suave con el uso constante. La fórmula es un poco más densa que la de los sueros Lancôme que mencioné, así que prefiero usar este de noche. 

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil Light

This only gets love from me on winter, to be honest. My skin isn't normally dry but in the colder months it gets a little patchy in some areas. I love to use this oil as a targeted treatment before my routine to repair my skin. Since it's so pure, I've even used it on the tips of my hair when things get frizzy.  

Esto sólo recibe amor de mi parte en invierno, para ser honesta. Mi piel normalmente no es seca pero en los meses fríos se llena de parches en ciertas áreas. Me encanta usar este aceite como tratamiento antes de mi rutina para reparar la piel. Ya que es muy puro lo he usado también en las puntas de mi pelo cuando se llena de frizz.
