Today I'm quite excited to share with you a little surprise that I got in the mail from Lancôme. As most of us around here, I'm a big fan of Lisa Eldridge, knowing that she is behind these products really catches my attention. Today I'll tell you how good they are.
The first thing that I tried was the Grandiôse Liner, I received the brown shade but you can also get it in black and blue. I had seen Lisa Eldridge try this on a video where she shows how the wand blends to your needs. I love this trick, it made application so easy. The formula dries immediately to a solid matte color and lasts for a good amount of time. To compliment the liner, we have the Grandiôse Mascara, I got mine in black. Like the liner, the wand is a little curved to help you apply product to the lashes that you normally don't reach. The formula feels a little thick but the results are thick and voluminous lashes that separate with the plastic wand. And they have a flower on the packaging, how could you not love that?

Amo este truco, hizo que aplicarlo fuera muy fácil. La fórmula se seca de inmediato a un color sólido matte y dura por muy buen tiempo. Para complementar el delineador, tenemos la Máscara de Pestañas Grandiôse, la mía es negra. Igual que el delineador, el mango está un poco curveado para ayudar a poner producto en las pestañas que normalmente no alcanzas. La fórmula se siente un poco densa pero los resultados son pestañas gruesas y con volumen que se separan con la brocha de plástico. Y tienen una flor en el empaque, ¿cómo pueden no amar eso?
Moving up to skincare, the Advanced Génifique Yeux is a youth activating concentrate that helps to tighten up the skin around the eyes and to brighten it up to appear more rested. The applicator is flexible to massage the entire area around the eyes, the pearl tip gives your eyes a cooling sensation. The formula feels very lightweight and it can be applied above and below the eyes.
Cambiando al cuidado de piel, Advanced Génifique Yeux es un concentrado rejuvenecedor que ayuda a tensar la piel alrededor de los ojos y a iluminarlos para parecer más descansados. El aplicador es flexible para dar masaje alrededor del área de los ojos, la punta de perla da una sensación refrescante. La fórmula se siente muy ligera y puede ser aplicada en la parte de arriba y abajo de los ojos.
The pigmentation on the liner and mascara is very intense, to remove everything we have the Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover that cleans the eyes completely and doesn't irritate the area. Bi-Phase formulas come in two parts that you need to shake very well before use, one of these parts is what removes the makeup and the other one helps to hydrate the skin without the greasy residue.
La pigmentación del delineador y la máscara de pestañas es muy intensa, para removerlo todo tenemos el Desmaquillante De Ojos Bi-Facil que deja los ojos completamente limpios y no irrita el área. Las fórmulas bifásicas vienen en dos partes que debes agitar muy bien antes de usar, una de estas partes es lo que limpia el maquillaje y la otra te ayuda a hidratar la piel sin dejar un residuo grasoso.
El diseño ergonómico en los empaques es lo que los hace resaltar. Los productos en sí son tan buenos como los esperas que sean pero es su desempeño que marca la diferencia. La máscara de pestañas tiene la brocha un poco grande, así que puedes mancharte si no aplicas con cuidado.

The ergonomic design in the packaging is what makes them stand out. The products themselves are just as good as you would expect but it's their performance that makes the difference. The mascara wand is a little big, so watch out for smudges if you don't apply it slowly.
