Last week I was feeling a little low on my spirits, nothing too bad but I thought a little shopping would help with that. And it sure did! I went a little more cray-cray than usual, specially at Zara and MAC. I rarely do hauls but I think this one is worth it, here's what I got.
La semana pasada me sentí un poco desanimada, nada malo pero pensé que algo de compritas me ayudarían con eso. ¡Y de verdad que sí! Me volví un poquito más loca de lo normal en mis compras, en especial en Zara y MAC. Rara vez hago reseñas de mis compras pero esta creo que lo vale, esto es lo que compré.
My first stop was a MAC counter. I don't even know how I've lived all these years without the 217 and 224 brushes. I have one specific brush that I love from Coastal Scents and to be honest it's very similar to the MAC 217. Another thing I purchased was the Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Frozen Violet. It's like a taupe-silver-purple in my opinion, I've been loving to wear it with purple toned eyeshadows from my Too Faced Chocolate Bar or on it's own. The last thing I got is actually a repurchase, the Prep + Primer BB Beauty Balm with SPF 35. I've worn this since last summer and it really protected my skin from the sun. I got the shade Medium because it matches my skin tone at this stage of summer perfectly.
Mi primera parada fue en un puesto de MAC. No sé cómo viví todos estos años sin las brochas 217 y 224. Tengo una en específico que adoro de Coastal Scents, y siendo honesta, es muy similar a la 217. Otra cosa que compré fue la Pro Longwear Paint Pot en Frozen Violet. Es como un marrón pardo-morado-plateado en mi opinión, me ha encantado usarla con las sombras moradas de la Too Faced Chocolate Bar o por sí sola. La última cosa que me traje es una compra que ya había hecho antes, el Prep + Primer BB Beauty Balm con SPF 35. Usé esta el verano pasado y en realidad protegió mi piel del sol. Tengo el tono Medium porque combina con mi piel perfectamente a estas alturas del verano.
Next, it was Zara. They were 2 visits actually, I really had to go back for some stuff. Most of these things were on sale, that's when I love to buy clothes that I wouldn't normally get for myself, so in case I don't like it, it won't hurt as much. The first thing was that White Crop Top on the first picture, I think it goes nicely with those Bermuda Shorts (reference) as well, which I actually picked up specially for that top. The shorts are high waisted and have a cute delicate print on them. I also got the Beige Large Pocket Shorts (reference) on the second picture, I like these for days when I just want to be comfortable and throw on a black or white shirt.
Still casual but more dressy, I found the Black Jumper on the third picture (reference). I tried the Large one (my size) but the fit was a little odd, the one I got is a Small one and I actually prefer how it looks on me. The back of this jumper is a little open, it also has a little bow to make a knot around the waist but I love baggy clothes so I ripped it off. Lastly, this could be called a repurchase because I already owned a plain white version of the Loose Jumper in the last picture (yes, I'm that kind of person). It looks like a two-piece outfit but the bottoms actually go all the way to the top and the back is also open. I loved the delicate print on the fabric and that it is actually slightly beige, it really looks very different from the one I had.
Después, fue Zara. En realidad fueron 2 visitas, de verdad tuve que regresar por unas cosas. La mayoría de esto estaba en oferta, es ahí cuando me gusta comprar cosas que normalmente no lo haría, por si me dejan de gustar, no me dolerá tanto. La primera cosa que compré fue el Crop Top Blanco de la primera foto, creo que se ve bien con esos Shorts Bermudas (referencia), los cuales compré especialmente para ese top. Los shorts son altos a la cintura y tienen un estampado delicado y lindo. También compré los Shorts beige de Bolsas Grandes (referencia) de la siguiente foto, estos me gustan como para días en que quiero estar cómoda y sólo ponerme una playera blanca o negra.
Aún casual pero un poco más arreglado, encontré el Jumper Negro de la tercera foto (referencia). Me probé el Grande (mi talla) pero el ajuste estaba algo raro, el que compré es Chico y me gustó más cómo se ve en mí. La parte trasera de este jumper está un poco abierta, también viene con un listón en la cintura para que hagas un nudo pero como prefiero vestir holgada, se lo arranqué. Por último, esta podría llamarse una compra antigua porque ya tenía uno una versión blanca sólida del Jumper Holgado en la última foto (sí, soy esa clase de persona). Parece un atuendo de dos piezas pero la parte de abajo se extiende hasta arriba y también tiene la parte de atrás abierta. Me gustó mucho el estampado delicado en la tela y que sea más como de un tono un algo beige, en realidad sí se ve diferente del que ya tenía.
My last purchase was a total bargain with these Chunky Heels being about 50% off. I was about to get them a few weeks ago but the price was a little too high, I nearly jumped when I realized they were on sale and obviously took them home with me. They look insanely high but they're very comfortable, I've even worn them to the club.
Mi última compra fue una ganga total con estos Tacones Gruesos en casi 50% de descuento. Estuve a punto de comprarlos hace un par de semanas pero el precio era un poco alto, casi brinco cuando vi que estaban en oferta y obviamente me los llevé a casa conmigo. Se ven exageradamente altos pero en realidad son muy cómodos, incluso me los he puesto para salir de noche.
