Pink Mauve

A few days ago it was National Lipstick Day (not in Mexico, but the idea is to celebrate, right?) so I headed off to the mall and got myself two new lipsticks. My favorite pick was Pink Mauve by Bobbi Brown, just the perfect color for a not-so-bold lip that still pops out. 

Hace unos días fue el Día Nacional del Labial (no en México, pero la idea es celebrar, ¿cierto?) así que fui al centro comercial y me compré dos labiales nuevos. Mi elección favorita fue Pink Mauve de Bobbi Brown, justo el color perfecto para no ser tan obvio pero que aún sobresale.

On my previous post I mentioned the MAC Pro Longwear Paintpot in Frozen Violet which I purchased a few days ago. I've been playing around with it and finally came up with a look that I actually wore for a night out using that Paintpot. I think the eyeshadows play really well with the lips despite not being the exact same colors but I kept everything rosy by using purple toned eyeshadows. I think this can work for a daytime look by darkening a little less the eyes.

He estado jugando con ella y finalmente di con un look que en verdad usé para salir de noche usando esa Paintpot. Creo que las sombras juegan bien con los labios a pesar de no ser exactamente los mismos colores pero mantuve todo rosado usando sombras con tonos morados. Creo que esto puede funcionar como un look de día si no obscurecemos tanto los ojos.

- Naked 3 Palette: Liar (lids center/centro de los párpados), Blackheart (outermost edges/orillas más externas), Nooner (crease/cuencas), Buzz (gently over Liar/suavemente encima de Liar).
