There are certain looks that never fail to look good for any occasion. Whether if it's a wedding, a girls night out, or a club night, one thing is certain: black fits everything. To try something different from a smokey eye, in this pictorial I will show you how I create a simple soft cut crease makeup using eyeshadows from the Naked 2 Palette.
Hay algunos looks que nunca fallan en lucir bien para cualquier ocasión. Ya sea una boda, una noche fuera con amigas, o una salida de antro, una cosa es segura: el negro queda con todo. Para tratar algo diferente a un ojo ahumado, en este pictorial les voy a enseñar cómo me hago un cut crease usando sombras de la Naked 2 Palette.
STEPS:
1. After priming my eyes, I applied Foxy all over my eyelid just to work as a base for the eyeshadow that I added in the end.
2. With a black kohl pencil, create a V shape on the outer edge of the eye, starting from the lash line as if you were creating a wing but coming back in towards the crease.
3. Smudge the liner with a pencil brush, use whatever is left on the brush to take the line in the crease a little further in.
4. Top the liner with Blackout to intensify the black, use a tiny brush to avoid spreading the eyeshadow to the bare sides.
5. Use Tease to blend out the outer edges with a fluffy brush, you can go over the inner edges very gently just making sure you don't blend the color into the lids.
6. Repeat the last two steps by adding more Blackout and blending out with Tease until you reach the desired intensity, I did it 3 times.
7. Once I blended out everything, I packed Bootycall in the bare area of the eyelid to add a little sparkle to the eyes. You can skip this step if you want a matte look or add more of Foxy instead.
8. For the lower part of the eyes, I used Tease in the entire area just to add a little color but still keeping the drama up in the crease, then I added a tiny amount of Blackout to the outer third to connect it with the top.
9. Create a dramatic wing and connect it ever so slightly to the lower lash line, don't forget to line you eyes on the inside to intensify the look, I used gel liner for both.
10. To finish the look, highlight the inner corners and brow bones with Bootycall (or Foxy for matte looks) and add a lot of black mascara.
PASOS:
1. Después de aplicar un primer para sombras, puse Foxy en todo el párpado como base para la sombra que agregué al final.
2. Con un lápiz negro, crea una forma de V en la parte exterior de los ojos, empezando desde las pestañas como si fueras a crear un delineado de gato pero regresándote hacia la cuenca.
3. Difumina en delineador con una brocha de lápiz, usa lo que quede en la brocha para arrastrar la línea de la cuenca un poco más hacia adentro.
4. Agrega Blackout encima del delineador para darle mayor intensidad al negro, usa una brocha muy pequeña para evitar esparcir el negro hacia los lados sin sombra.
5. Con una brocha más grande, usa Tease en las orillas exteriores para difuminar el negro de la cuenca, puedes difuminar las orillas interiores teniendo cuidado de no extender el color hacia los párpados.
6. Repite los dos últimos pasos añadiendo más Blackout y difuminándolo con Tease hasta que llegues a la intensidad que deseas, yo lo hice 3 veces.
7. Una vez que termines difuminando, agrega Bootycall en la parte sin sombras en los párpados para darle brillo a los ojos. Puedes saltarte este paso si quieres que tu look sea matte o agregar más Foxy en vez de Bootycall.
8. Para la parte de abajo, apliqué Tease en todo el área para agregar algo de color pero aún manteniendo el drama en las cuencas, después usé un poco de Blackout en el tercio exterior para conectarlo con la parte de arriba.
9. Crea un delineado de gato y conéctalo muy ligeramente con la parte de las pestañas de abajo, no olvides delinear el interior de los ojos para darle más intensidad al look, yo usé gel para ambos.
10. Para finalizar, ilumina el interior de tus ojos y debajo de las cejas con Bootycall (o Foxy para looks matte) y agrega mucha máscara de pestañas.
