A few days ago I received a lovely package from Light In The Box, an online store that sells many things among clothes, shoes, accessories, house ware, and more. They sent me a few items that I absolutely love and I wanted to share with you.
Hace unos días recibí un paquete de Light In The Box, una tienda en línea que vende muchas cosas entre ropa, zapatos, accesorios, productos para el hogar y más. Me enviaron unas cosas que me encantaron y quería compartirlas con ustedes.
If there's anything more lovely for makeup storage it certainly has to be made with acrylic. I've seen around the popular Muji storage and these Acrylic Drawers seemed interesting to me. You can tell by the items inside that the space is a little reduced, but I think it works great for storing what you wear more often. In the first drawer I put my eye and brow stuff, just some of the things that I use almost daily for everyday looks. On the second drawer I kept my most used face stuff: my base, a BB cream and three concealers (you can't really see the other two in the picture cause they're in the back).
Si hay algo más lindo para guardar el maquillaje definitivamente debe ser hecho con acrílico. He visto por ahí el famoso almacenamiento de Muji y estos Cajones de Acrílico me parecieron interesantes. Por el contenido pueden ver que el espacio es un poco reducido, pero creo que funciona muy bien para guardar lo que usas más seguido. En el primer cajón puse todo lo de ojos y cejas, sólo algunas cosas que uso casi diario para looks de día. En el segundo cajón guardé todo lo de cara: mi base, una crema BB, y tres correctores (no se pueden ver los otros dos porque estaban hasta el fondo del cajón).
Something that I really liked was this Lipstick Holder, even though I have more than 12 shades I managed to put there the ones that I wear more often or want to remind me to do so. This is the same size from side to side as the drawers so you can place it above them to save space, plus they look so cute together!
Algo que me gustó mucho fue este Contenedor de Labiales, y aunque tenga más de 12 colores me las arreglé para dejar ahí los que más uso o los que quiero recordar usar más. Tiene el mismo ancho que los cajones, así que lo puedes poner encima de ellos para ahorrar espacio, ¡además de que se ven muy lindos juntos!
For some reason I always feel curious about trying makeup brushes even if they're not specifically from a recognized brand. I wanted to give this 12 Piece Brush Set a go and I was pretty amazed on how soft they were! I think this would be pretty helpful for someone who is just starting to experiment with makeup and/or has a low budget, you can get a full face out of them and they're pretty reasonably priced.
Por alguna razón siempre me da curiosidad de probar brochas de maquillaje aunque no sean específicamente de una marca reconocida. Quise darle un tiro a este Set de 12 Brochas de Maquillaje ¡y en verdad me sorprendió lo suaves que estaban! Creo que este set le serviría de mucha ayuda a alguien que apenas está comenzando a experimentar con maquillaje y/o tiene un bajo presupuesto, ya que puedes sacar un look completo con ellos y tienen un precio bastante razonable.
The Brush Set comes with 12 pieces that work for face and eyes, you can see it has a brush for every step on a normal routine. You can put them in the leather pouch in which they come for traveling or in a cute vase like I did on the first picture.
El Set de Brochas viene con 12 piezas que sirven para ojos y rostro, pueden ver que hay una brocha para cada paso en una rutina normal. Pueden guardarlas en la bolsa de piel en la que vienen para viajar o en un contenedor bonito como yo lo hice en la primera foto.
And since we're already on the acrylic wagon, I wanted to show you this simple Clear Case for iPhone 5/5s, quite self explanatory. I think my phone looks better this way because I can see the gold back and still protect it from it's constant drops (whoops!). And just to get creative, I'm pretty sure I'll design some templates to print and get different styles by putting them between the case and the phone. DIY post, anyone?
Y ya que estamos en el trend de lo acrílico, les quería enseñar esta Carcasa Transparente para iPhone5/5s, el nombre habla por sí mismo. Siento que mi teléfono se ve mejor de esta manera porque puede apreciarse el dorado de la parte trasera y aún así protegerlo de sus constantes caídas (¡whoops!). Y sólo para ponernos creativos, estoy segura que diseñaré unos templates para imprimirlos y ponerlos entre la carcasa y el teléfono para estilos diferentes. ¿Post de DIY?
Simply because one can never have too many black bags, right? This Crocodile Pattern Tote Bag is as simple as I need it to be, it has a lot of space on the inside and some little compartments that work for the phone, lipsticks, keys, all those little things. It comes with a strap but I prefer using it this way unless I'm going shopping and straps come really handy! And of course the crocodile texture is fake, the bag is made out of PU Leather.
Simplemente porque nadie puede tener muchas bolsas negras, ¿cierto? Esta Bolsa Con Patrón De Cocodrilo es tan simple como la quiero que sea, tiene mucho espacio por dentro y algunos compartimentos que sirven para el teléfono, las llaves, labiales, todas esas cositas. Viene con una correa aparte pero yo prefiero usarla así al menos de que vaya de compras, ¡porque es cuando son de mucha ayuda esas correas! Y por supuesto que la textura de cocodrilo es falsa, la bolsa está hecha de piel PU.
Last but not least, I got two black (duh!) tops, the first one is a lovely Chiffon Blouse with White Collar. It has a sheer fabric on the sides, I think it gives the blouse a nice and simple feel.
Por último, recibí dos blusas negras (duh!), la primera es una Blusa de Chifón con Collar Blanco. Tiene una tela transparente en los lados, creo que eso le da un toque lindo y sencillo a la blusa.
The other top is a PU Leather Sleeve Shirt with a high-low cut. It also has a leather stripe on the back, you can see it on the lower part of the shirt. I think this one is nice for just a casual day when all I want to do is go to the supermarket and not look like I've been on my pajamas all day which I probably would. The only bad thing about this shirt is that it fits me a little too tight, I would be right if it was summer but I tend to gain some good weight on the colder months and I'm afraid it won't fit me by november. Better go back to my workout routine!
El otro top es una Blusa Con Mangas De Cuero con un corte alto-bajo. También tiene una línea de cuero por atrás, pueden verla en la parte de abajo de la blusa. Creo que esta me sirve para un día casual donde lo único que quiero es ir al súper y no verme como que anduve todo el día en piyama aunque es probable que así sea. Lo único malo de esta blusa es que me queda un poco ajustada, no tendría problema con eso si fuera verano pero siempre subo de peso en los meses fríos y me temo que no me quedará para noviembre. ¡Más vale volver a la rutina de ejercicio!
