L'Oréal Les Macarons Liquid Lipsticks Review + Swatches

What's better than a matte liquid lipstick? A good smelling one for sure! These L'Oréal Les Macarons Liquid Lipsticks had been sitting in my to-try pile and finally got around to swatch every single one of them on my lips and found out they could be my new favorite formula of liquid lipsticks. 

¿Qué es mejor que un labial líquido matte? Uno que huela rico, ¡seguro! Estos Les Macarons Liquid Lipsticks de L'Oréal habían estado sentados en mi caja de cosas por probar y ya por fin me los probé en los labios y descubrí que podrían ser mi nueva fórmula favorita de labial líquido. 

So what makes these liquid lipsticks so good? Not only the fact that they all taste like dessert (which is something I love in lip products) but the formula es very creamy and pigmented, takes a while to finally set and doesn't let the lips feel dry. I'll be honest, some of them turned out a little patchy but I'll let you know which ones in each photo below. The staying power is great as well, they begin to fade in the inner area of the lips, usually where every lipstick starts to vanish, but as long as you're not eating something greasy it will stay there for sure. They feel a bit like a mousse at the beginning, as I said, they take a while to set so it gives you time to play around with the edges if you want a soft look or just a stain effect. And speaking of stains, the darker shades leave a tint on the lips which helps to disguise any color loss. 

Entonces, ¿qué hace a estos labiales líquidos tan buenos? No solo el hecho de que todos saben a postre (algo que a mí me encanta en productos de labios) pero la fórmula es muy cremosa y pigmentada, se tarda un poco en fijarse y no deja los labios sintiéndose secos. Seré honesta, algunos se aplicaron parchados pero les diré cuáles en las fotos de abajo en cada uno. El poder de duración es bueno, se comienzan a difuminar por la parte interior de los labios, donde usualmente le pasa a todos los labiales, pero siempre y cuando no estés comiendo algo grasoso seguro se quedarán. Se sienten como un mousse al principio, como dije, se tardan en fijarse y eso de da tiempo de jugar con los bordes si quieres un look más suave o solo un efecto de tinta. Y hablando de tintas, los tonos obscuros dejan un velo de color en los labios que ayuda a disfrazar la pérdida de color.

Dose of Rose - 818 

This is such a pretty shade for spring, a pink with a slight hint of blue in a cool tone, perfect for every day. 

Es es un tono hermoso para primavera, un ru7osa con un poquito de tono azul frío, perfecto para uso de diario.

Mon Caramel - 822 

The perfect nude for light to medium skin tones, it has some sort of yellow undertone which matches my skin so it might be my favorite and also perfect for every day. 

El nude perfecto para pieles en tono claro a mediano, tiene un poco de sub-tono amarillo que encaja muy bien con mi piel y creo que es mi favorito y perfecto para diario.

Guava Gush - 824 

If you want a bit more color but nothing crazy, this light coral shade is for you. I'm not too much into these colors and actually is one that I found applied a bit patchy but not too much. 

Si quieres algo más de color pero nada loco, este coral claro es para ti. No soy muy fan de estos colores y de hecho creo que es de los que sentí que estaban medio parchosos pero no mucho.

Mademoiselle Mango - 826 

A juicy orangey red, a great color to wear as the statement of your look. This took a while to apply evenly but succeeded in the end. 

Un rojo naranja jugoso, excelente para usarlo como el statement de tu maquillaje. Este me tomó un poco para aplicarlo uniformemente pero lo logré al final.

Framboise Frenzy - 828 

My favorite type of bright red, a true raspberry pink that can look more like red, depending on how you wear it, which makes it versatile. Also, this one felt a little lighter on the formula, we're seeing a pattern with the reddish shades, right? 

Mi tipo de rojo vivo favorito, un rosa frambuesa que puede parecer más como rojo, dependiendo de cómo lo uses y lo hace versátil. También, este se sintió más ligero en su fórmula, estamos viendo un patrón en los tonos rojizos, verdad? 

Blackcurrant Crush - 830 

The perfect plum, deep rich purple that makes any fall/winter look complete. The application was even and this is one of the colors that leaves a stain as it wears off on the insides. 

El tono uva perfecto, morado profundo y rico que completa cualquier look de otoño/invierno. La aplicación fue fácil y es uno de los colores que dejan una tinta cuando se desvanecen por dentro. 

Strawberry Sauvage - 832 

Bright orange shade. Honestly, my least favorite, super patchy, uneven application and (in personal taste) a color that I don't like how it looks on me.

Tono naranja vivo. Honestamente, mi menos favorito, súper parchoso, aplicación irregular y (como opinión personal) un color que no me gusta cómo se me ve.

Infinite Spice - 834 

This is kind of the deeper version of Mon Caramel, which can work as a cinnamon nude on medium to dark skin tones. Another favorite of mine and a gorgeous color for every day or to pair with smokey eyes.

Este es mas o menos la versión profunda de Mon Caramel, el cual puede funcionar con un nude canela en pieles medianas a obscuras. Otro de mis favoritos y un color hermoso para el diario o con smokey eyes. 

Berry Cherie - 838 

Another huge favorite of this collection. Berry tones are my favorite when it comes to bold lips and this one specially has a hint of red but with a blue undertone that makes your teeth look whiter. The color payoff was intense and covered the lips in one swipe. 

Otro de mis grandes favoritos de esta colección. Los tonos berry son mis favoritos cuando se trata de labios intensos y este en específico tiene un toque de rojo con tonos azules que hace ver los dientes más blancos. La pigmentación es intensa y cubre los labios en una pasada. 

Infinite Plum - 840 

The ideal fall/winter plum shade. I think this was my favorite of all the lipsticks, specially because I was a lot into cool tones a few months ago and wore this for a tutorial on YouTube. It lasted pretty well and didn't go on patchy, beautiful color too! 

El labial ciruela ideal para otoño/invierno. Creo que este es mi color favorito de todos los labiales, en especial porque estuve usando mucho los tonos fríos hace unos meses y incluso lo usé para un tutorial en YouTube. Tuvo buena duración y no se aplicó en parches, hermoso color también!
