Urban Decay surprised us this year with a new addition to the Naked family bringing the Naked Cherry Palette right into the wishlist of every warm toned eyeshadows lover. As usual, here's my quick review and a makeup tutorial using most of the collection.
Urban Decay nos sorprendió este año con una nueva adición a la familia Naked, llevando la Paleta Naked Cherry directo a la lista de deseos de cada amante de las sombras cálidas. Como de costumbre, les tengo aquí mi reseña rápida y un tutorial de maquillaje usando casi toda la colección.

The Urban Decay Naked Cherry Collection starts with the already famous palette. Just like her sisters, it has a mix of 12 matte, shimmery, and satin eyeshadows from lighter to darker in a similar color spectrum, this time a pinky red cherry theme. I must admit, these eyeshadows have definitely been improving over the years, just by comparing my Naked 2 (the first one that I purchased) to this palette I can feel them creamier and even much more pigmented, although they already were!
La Colección Naked Cherry de Urban Decay comienza con la ya famosa paleta. Al igual que sus hermanas, tiene una mezcla de 12 sombras en acabados matte, satinados y brillantes de claras a obscuras en un espectro de color similar, esta vez un tema rosa rojo cereza. Debo admitir, estas sombras han mejorado definitivamente en los últimos años, solo comparando mi Naked 2 (la primera que compré) con esta paleta puedo sentirlas más cremosas e incluso mucho más pigmentadas, ¡aunque ya lo eran!
From what I remember there are three lipsticks in this collection but I believe only two made their way to Mexico. The Vice Lipstick in Juicy is a metallized creamy nude that looks like a natural color on your lips but with a fun sparkle, nothing too intense so you can pull it off in the daytime. My favorite one was the Vice Lipstick in Cherry, a bold deep cherry color that fits perfectly with the darker tones in the palette. Both are creamy and have a good color payoff with just one swipe, which you can see in the video. The collection also comes with two 24/7 Glide-On Pencils in Love Drug and Black Market. The first one is a pinky berry and the other one is a black with a hint of a sparkle in it. As a fun item in the collection there is a cherry scented All Nighter Setting Spray that of course I forgot to include in the photos but I certainly used for the video. It does smell like cherry but the scent doesn't remain as a perfume would—which I appreciate a lot because it's not that sweet.
Según recuerdo habían tres labiales en esta colección pero creo que sólo dos lograron llegar a México. El Vice Lipstick en Juicy es un nude metálico cremoso que se ve como un tono natural de labios pero con brillos lindos, tampoco muy intensos así que lo puedes usar en el día. Mi favorito fue el Vice Lipstick en Cherry, un tono cereza intenso que va perfecto con los colores obscuros de la paleta. Ambos son muy cremosos y tienen excelente pigmentación con sólo una pasada, lo que puedes ver en el video. La colección también viene con dos 24/7 Glide-On Pencils en Love Drug y Black Market. El primero es un rosa frambuesa y el otro un negro con un toque de brillos en él. Como un producto divertido en la colección hay un All Nighter Setting Spray con aroma a cereza que por supuesto olvidé incluir en las fotos pero me aseguré de usarlo en el video. Sí huele a cereza pero el aroma no permanece como lo haría un perfume—algo que aprecio bastante porque no es tan dulce.
THE LOOK
For the makeup look I tried to use as many eyeshadows from the palette as I could to really show their potential. I've seen a lot of people say that the colors are a little too similar, which I would agree but my idea was to show a way to wear them on certain areas where they would perform differently, making the palette more versatile. I created a halo smokey eye—my favorite type of eye look, and paired it with super dramatic lashes because I wanted to look GLAM AF.
Para el look de maquillaje traté de usar el mayor número de sombras que podía de la paleta para realmente mostrar su potencial. He visto a muchas personas decir que los colores son un poco similares, y puedo estar de acuerdo pero mi idea era enseñar una forma de usarlas en ciertas áreas de modo que se desempeñaran de diferente forma, haciendo la paleta más versátil. Hice un ojo ahumado en halo—mi tipo de look de ojos favorito y lo acompañé con pestañas súper dramáticas porque quería verme GLAM AF.
