ABOUT TURN: Zoeva Pure Matte + Graphic Lips

Zoeva recently launched the new Pure Matte Lips, a new formula of their Liquid Lips that I reviewed a while ago in another post. The Velours Lips (my favorite ever!) have a creamy matte finish, whereas this new range dries to a completely matte but thin finish.

Recientemente Zoeva lanzó los nuevos Pure Matte Lips, una fórmula nueva de sus Liquid Lips de las cuales ya hice una reseña hace tiempo en otra publicación. Los Velours Lips (¡mis favoritos de siempre!) tienen un acabado matte cremoso, mientras que esta nueva gama se seca en un acabado completamente matte pero ligero.

To go with the Pure Matte Lips, the Graphic Lips Liners are the perfect way to prep the lips to full color. These eight liners are as creamy as a kohl eyeliner but on your lips. They come in a variety of shades that work with any lipstick in the nude, red and, deep shades. The Pure Matte Lips are more on the colorful side, with half of them in deep earthy tones and the other half with cool colorful shades. They are a little sheer so I think it's best to wear them with a liner underneath. They go on with a creamy texture until they start to dry and never budge (not even the liners!) but they don't leave your lips feeling like a desert.

Para ir con los Pure Matte Lips, los Graphic Lips Liners son la manera perfecta de preparar los labios para color máximo. Estos ocho delineadores son tan cremosos como un kohl de ojos pero para la boca. Vienen en una variedad de tonos que funcionan con cualquier labial en la gama de carne, rojos y tonos profundos. Los Pure Matte Lips están más del lado colorido, con la mitad en tonos tierra intensos y la otra en coloridos tonos fríos. Son un poco ligeros, por lo que creo que es mejor usarlos con delineador debajo. Tienen una textura cremosa cuando los aplicas hasta que comienzan a secarse y jamás se mueven (¡tampoco los delineadores!) pero no dejan tus labios sintiéndose como un desierto.

THE LOOK

After seeing the shade range I instantly wanted to create a super warm toned look and use the first liquid lipstick on the package and its matching liner: About Turn Pure Matte Lips and Blooming Impression Graphic Lips. For the eyes I used the Zoeva Café Palette and re-created the first look from this post. Even though the colors are more on the mauve side they go along perfectly with the lips as a subtle pop of color.
