I was going through my makeup the other day and realized that I haven't used my MAC eyeshadows on the blog for quite a while. My palette consists of mostly warm tones so I thought it would be perfect to create a smokey look for Fall with an appropriate pop of color.
Estaba viendo todo mi maquillaje el otro día y me di cuenta de que no he usado mis sombras MAC en el blog desde hace tiempo. Mi paleta consiste en su mayoría de tonos cálidos así que pensé que sería perfecto hacer un look ahumado para otoño con un golpe de color apropiado.
1. Prime your eyes with a matte base, I recently purchased MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot and it's been my favorite.
2. Swipe a warm eyeshadow through the crease as a transition color, I used MAC Texture. Go slightly closer to the brow bone if you want a more smokey effect.
3. Add a color base for the next eyeshadow to pop out more. This is an optional step but it can help to contrast the shimmery particles of the other eyeshadow. I used MAC Constructivist Paint Pot.
4. Use a warm coppery eyeshadow like MAC Antiqued and dab it onto the lids, you can press it on with your fingers for more intensity. Blend it out repeating Step 2.
5. Swipe a brown eyeliner with a slight shimmer finish on your lower lash line, I used MAC Teddy Eye Kohl Pencil, this will help as a base for the next color.
6. This is where you add a pop of color, if you're not too brave you can add gold (like MAC Amber Lights). I went with MAC Sumptuous Olive, a golden green color, and placed on top of the liner.
7. Bring some light back to the eyes with a highlighting eyeshadow, I mixed MAC Dazzlelight and Honey Lust to make it a bit warmer. Add this to your brow bone and inner corners.
8. Add a volumizing mascara and your favorite false lashes for extra drama. Don't forget to line the inside of the eyes so that there is no pink showing off.

2. Pasa una sombra cálida por la cuenca como color de transición, yo usé Texture de MAC. Pásate un poco más cerca del hueso de la ceja si quieres un efecto más ahumado.
3. Agrega una base de color para que la próxima sombra resalte más. Este es un paso opcional pero puede ayudar a contrastar las partículas brillantes de la otra sombra. Yo usé la Paint Pot Constructivist de MAC.

6. Aquí es donde puedes jugar con el color, si no eres muy valiente puedes usar dorado (como Amber Lights de MAC). Yo usé Sumptuous Olive de MAC, un verde dorado, y lo puse por encima del delineador.
7. Trae algo de luz de vuelta a los ojos con una sombra que ilumine. Yo mezclé Dazzlelight y Honey Lust de MAC para hacer más cálido. Agrega esto en el hueso de las cejas y en las orillas internas.
8. Agrega una máscara de pestañas que dé volumen y tus pestañas postizas favoritas para mayor drama. No olvides delinear el interior de los ojos para que no haya rosita a la vista.
