Editing photos for social media is something I really enjoy to do. I have a few apps that I use all the time that help me tie my photos together to create the perfect feed on Instagram. The best part is that they're all free and easy to use.
Editar fotos para mis redes sociales es algo que disfruto mucho hacer. Tengo algunas aplicaciones que uso todo el tiempo que me ayudan a mantener en armonía mi perfil en Instagram. Lo mejor de todo es que son gratuitas y fáciles de usar.
In my previous post I talked to you about creating the perfect flatlays and some tips, this time I'll tell you more about editing on your phone. I'm a huge Photoshop fan, but I know most of you don't have a Creative Suit at your reach. These apps work in a very similar way and they will help you adjust the basic things like lighting, shadows, or undertones and even more complicated steps like cloning sides to make a photo appear larger.
En mi publicación anterior les hablé de cómo crear los flatlays perfectos y algunos tips, esta vez les contaré más sobre cómo editar en sus celulares. Soy una gran fanática del Photoshop, pero sé que no todos ustedes tienen una Suit Creativa a su alcance. Estas aplicaciones funcionan de una manera similar y les ayudarán a ajustar cosas básicas como la luz, sombras o tonos e incluso lo más complicado como clonar las orillas de la foto para que parezca más grande.
THE APPS
VSCO Cam
This is my all time favorite and number one app. To be honest, I think you could just use this one and everything would be perfect. Although it's a free app, you can buy some presets that fit your style more. Every now and then they have sales or special offers with free presets, make sure you grab those! I got the Street Etiquette (SE) filters for free a long time ago and that's what I use all the time, preset SE 3. It washes out the colors slightly and emphasizes black and white, perfect for my feed. In here you can adjust exposure, temperature, undertones, clarity, and much more.
Esta es mi aplicación favorita de todos los tiempos y la número uno. En realidad creo que puedes usar sólo esta y todo estará perfecto. Aunque es una aplicación gratuita, puedes comprar algunos programas que vayan con tu estilo. De vez en cuando lanzas paquetes en oferta o unos gratis, ¡asegúrate de tomarlos todos! Yo conseguí Street Etiquette (SE) gratis hace tiempo y es el que uso siempre, el programa SE 3. Deslava un poco los colores y enfatiza los negros y blancos, perfecto para mi perfil. Aquí puedes ajustar cosas como la exposición, temperatura, tonos, claridad y mucho más.

I only use this for very detailed editing. You can do the same things as on VSCO but the two things that I love the most about this app is the exposure tool and expanding tool. Since I love sharp black and white shots it is crucial for me to have a sharp white background without washing out colors from the products in my photos. The exposure tool allows you to "paint" the area that you want to brighten without exposing the whole shot. The expanding tool is perfect if you want to extend the edges of a photo. This works even on outfit posts if your background is a solid color, just extend a corner and the app will fill in the gap with a similar texture. Amazing.
Solo uso esta para edición muy detallada. Puedes hacer las mismas cosas que en VSCO pero lo que amo de esta app son las herramientas de exposición y de expansión. Ya que amo fotos con blancos y negros pronunciados es crucial para mi tener un fondo blanco brillante sin deslavar los colores de los productos en mis fotos. La herramienta de exposición te deja "pintar" el área que quieres iluminar sin quemar el resto de la toma. La herramienta de expansión es perfecta si quieres extender las orillas de una foto. Esto funciona incluso para una toma de outfit si tu fondo es un color sólido, solo arrastra una orilla hacia afuera y la app rellenará el espacio con una textura similar. Increíble.

You can play around with different styles and change colors and fonts to your liking. It's very easy to use and very useful if you're having a long day that you want to document on your 24H stream to give it a vlog style.
Si te gusta publicar videos en tu perfil, o incluso sólo para tus Instagram Stories, esta app te va a dejar agregar títulos lindos y divertidos a tus videos. Puedes jugar con distintos estilos y cambiar los colores y fuentes a tu gusto. Es facilísima de usar y muy útil si estás teniendo un día largo que quieres documentar por medio de tu torrente de 24H para darle un estilo de vlog.
