In my last Weekly Diary I mentioned my new Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette. I purchased it a few weeks ago and I was even more amazed when I saw it in person. It's the perfect Holidays palette and today I'll be sharing with you a little review.
En mi último Weekly Diary mencioné mi nueva paleta Cocoa Blend de Zoeva. La compré hace unas semanas y me quedé más sorprendida cuando la vi en persona. Es la paleta perfecta para la temporada Navideña y hoy les comparto una pequeña reseña.
First of all, the colors in the palette are just what I like to wear, bronzy browns and pops of color like the cranberry tone on the top row. The pigmentation is very strong, I normally wear the Urban Decay Primer Potion underneath my eye makeup and the colors show up very nicely even without it. Something that I love about this palette is that it has a skin-tone shade that makes blending much easier, although the formula is already quite creamy.
Primero que nada, los colores en la paleta son justo lo que me gusta usar, cafés bronceados y acentos de color como el tono frambuesa en la fila de arriba. La pigmentación es muy fuerte, normalmente uso la Primer Potion de Urban Decay debajo de mi maquillaje de ojos y los colores resaltan mucho incluso sin ella. Algo que me gusta mucho de esta paleta es que tiene un tono parecido al de mi piel que hace el difuminado más fácil, aunque la fórmula ya es bastante cremosa.
The palette has 4 matte shades and 6 satin/shimmery shades. Substitute For Love and Freshly Toasted are perfect crease colors, they suit all the other shades in the palette for a beautiful transition. Sweeter End is a nice shimmery soft pink shade that can work as a was of color all over the lids or as a highlight. For easy looks, Subtle Blend and Pure Ganache are nice bronzy/gold lid colors, great for pairing up with a black winged liner.
Warm Notes is the perfect shade to wear on a Holiday party look, the cranberry tones will make the eyes stand out and pair up nicely with spiky lashes. For dramatic smokey eyes, the shades Delicate Acidity and Infusion are perfect for bold looks, the shimmery particles make the eyes pop and you can darken out the edges with Beans Are White for more drama. As I mentioned before, Bitter Start is great for blending out the edges or a matte highlight.

La paleta tiene 4 sombras matte y 6 satinadas/brillantes. Substitute For Love y Freshly Toasted son perfectas para la cuenca, quedan con todas las demás sombras para hacer una linda transición. Sweeter End is un tono rosa pálido brillante que puede funcionar como un color suave en todo el párpado o como iluminador. Para looks sencillos, Subtle Blend y Pure Ganache son tonos bronceados/cafés ideales para el párpado, bueno para acompañar con un delineado de gato.
Warm Notes es la sombra perfecta para usar en un look Navideño de fiesta, los tonos frambuesa hacen que los ojos resalten y luce bien con pestañas intensas. Para ojos dramáticos, las sombras Delicate Acidity y Infusion son perfectas para looks fuertes, las partículas brillantes en ellos harán que los ojos se vean más y puedes darles profundidad con Beans Are White para más drama. Como lo mencioné antes, Bitter Start es ideal para difuminar las orillas o como un iluminado matte.
