These past days I've been doing my makeup the same way because once I know a method works with me, then I'll obsess over it. This also happens with certain products, even if I forget about them for a while, they'll re-appear all of a sudden and quickly become my favorites again. Here are a couple of low budget goodies that I've been enjoying lately.

Esto también me pasa con algunos productos, aún cuando me olvido de ellos por un tiempo, siempre reaparecen de pronto y rápido se vuelven a convertir en mis favoritos. Estas son algunas de las cosas de bajo costo que me han gustado últimamente.
Beyond Belief Natural Focus Rejuvenating Night Cream
This facial creme has an anti-aging system that nourishes and rejuvenates the skin, it definitely lightens the appearance of wrinkles and has a really fresh smell, kind of like avocado and almonds. I like to apply this even in the day time if I'm not going to go out just because it really freshens and moisturizes my skin. The only bad thing is that it can crumble if I apply too much, since it's too lightweight I end up doing that.
Esta crema facial tiene un sistema anti-edad que nutre y rejuvenece la piel, claramente disminuye la aparición de arrugas y tiene un olor muy fresco, algo como aguacate y almendras. Me gusta aplicarla incluso en el día si no voy a salir sólo por que deja mi piel muy fresca y suave. Lo único malo es que puede empezar a quebrarse en partes si aplicas demasiado, ya que es una fórmula muy ligera siempre acabo haciendo eso.
I think we all know this little sponge already and how great it is. I'm not a sponge person at all, specially for foundation, but in days when I don't want to wear anything on my skin except for concealer, I'll just dab a few dots on the needed areas and blend it away with the sponge, I feel this gives me a much softer look and helps the product set right where you apply it.
Creo que ya todos conocemos esta pequeña esponja y qué tan grandiosa es. No soy una persona de esponjas, en especial para la base, pero en días que no quiero usar nada en mi cara más que corrector, sólo pongo un poco en las áreas necesitadas y lo difumino con la esponja, siento que esto me da una apariencia más suave y ayuda a que el producto se quede justo en donde lo aplicaste.
I had never been a baby pink kind of girl but I decided I had to expand my nail polish collection on the pink side. I already owned a couple of bright pinks and a few pale shades as well, but I couldn't find something in-between those colors. Paint Me Happy ended up being exactly the color that I was looking for and I've been wearing it like crazy, it's just a nice girly pink that will go with any outfit.
Nunca había sido una persona de rosa bebé pero decidí que era necesario expandir mi colección de esmaltes del lado rosa. Ya tenía algunos esmaltes rosa brillante y otros tonos pálidos pero no podía encontrar algo entre esos dos. Paint Me Happy resultó ser exactamente el color que estaba buscando y lo he usado como loca, es simplemente un rosa muy lindo y femenino que combina con cualquier outfit.
Literally what the name says. I've repurchased this one so many times and I don't know what I stop using it at times. It's super black, super volumizing, gives me really big lashes and doesn't smudge. It's not waterproof but it definitely takes a little effort to remove it completely. I must say I was never a fan of curved wands, I actually bought this one accidentally because I saw the other Femme Couture mascaras had a straight wand so I didn't bother checking this one's shape. I remember getting home and to try it right away and getting so disappointed on the wand, but luckily I ran out of mascara so I was forced to use this one and ended up loving it. The wand really catches every single lash and coats them perfectly.
Literalmente lo que el nombre dice. He vuelto a comprar esta máscara tantas veces que no sé ni por qué dejo de usarla por un tiempo. Es súper negra, da muchísimo volumen, me deja unas pestañas enormes, y no se corre para nada. No es a prueba de agua pero definitivamente haces un esfuerzo para desmaquillarla. Y debo decir que nunca fui fan de las brochas curveadas pero esta la compré por accidente porque vi que las demás mascaras de Femme Couture tenían la brocha recta y no me molesté en checar la de ésta. Recuerdo que llegué a mi casa justo para probármela y me decepcionó mucho cuando vi la brocha, por suerte se me terminó la máscara así que tuve que usar esta y acabé amándola. La brocha atrapa cada una de las pestañas y las cubre a la perfección.
Just because I was curious about colored mascara, I saw this one on sale I decided to give it a go, there was also a blue one but I thought purple was a color that I would actually wear on a normal basis at least on my bottom lashes for a little spice. I tried on my top lashes too and it's really lengthening, the wand separates each lash so it doesn't look clumpy at all. The color didn't show up that much, though, I might try it again with a white primer underneath and see if I should go back for the blue one as well.
Sólo por que tenía mucha curiosidad de las máscaras de color, vi que esta estaba en descuento y decidí probarla, también había en azul pero pensé que el morado sería un color que podría usar a diario por lo menos en mis pestañas de abajo para un poco de chispa. Me la probé en las pestañas superiores también y da mucha longitud, la brocha separa cara pestaña y no las deja pegadas entre sí. El color no se mostró tanto, tal vez lo pruebe con un primer blanco abajo y veré si debo regresar por la azul también.
These eyeshadows can be used dry or wet, supposedly this can turn them into liners, which I have never tried before. Even when applied dry they have an amazing color payoff and look exactly the same on your eyes as on the pan. I've tried a few of these but Caught In The Act Courtney seems like a nice color to smudge around my eyes for a quick and soft brown smokey eye. I think this is one of those colors than your can wear by themselves and create a whole look with only one eyeshadow.
Estas sombras pueden usarse húmedas o secas, supuestamente esto las convierte en delineadores, cosa que jamás he intentado antes. Incluso si las aplicas secas tienen una pigmentación muy buena y se ven exactamente como en el contenedor. He probado otras de estas sombras pero Caught In The Act Courtney parece un buen color para difuminar alrededor de los ojos para crear un smokey eye café muy fácil y rápidamente. Creo que esta sombra es de esos colores que puedes usar por sí mismo para un look completo.
This is just a satiny pinky/champagne shade that works really well for highlighting the inner corners of the eyes, specially after using a sparkly dark brown like the one before. It doesn't look as powerful on the pan, but the color payoff is really intense so I wouldn't use it as face highlight. This looks really good on the entire lid and tons of mascara for a fresh looking face that will open up your eyes.
Esta es una sombra rosita/champagne con un acabado satinado que funciona muy bien para iluminar el interior de los ojos, en especial después de haber usado una sombra café con destellos como la anterior. En el contenedor no se ve tan potente, pero al aplicarla obtienes un color muy intenso así que no lo usaría para iluminar el rostro. Esta sombra se ve muy bien en todo el párpado y con mucha máscara en las pestañas para un look fresco que abrirá tus ojos.
