So spring is officially here and that means I (try to) stop wearing so much black and dive into colorful stuff. Last year I got this bag from a Mexican brand called Cloe, it's a big tote bag that can keep tons of things and they somehow stay where you put them which is a little weird, but pretty good though.
Ya llegó oficialmente la primavera y eso significa que dejo (intento) de usar tanto negro y me clavo en cosas más coloridas. El año pasado compré esta bolsa de Cloe, marca mexicana, es una tote bag enorme en la que caben miles de cosas y de alguna manera se quedan en el lugar donde las pongas, lo cual es raro pero muy bueno.
I don't really carry a ton of things cause I just hate heavy weight on my arms, but I try to stick with the essential things. First of things: my wallet because money, simple (Nine West). And speaking of weight, I keep my sunglasses in this Ray-Ban case from other sunnies just because it's pretty light and it doesn't take as much space as others. I got these Steve Madden aviators on sale and they've become my favorite so far. I also take with me my phone charger (and the phone of course) cause you know battery just dies so fast. Last but not least, my makeup/whatever little bag which holds other random stuff that I need throughout the day. It's much easier to keep little important things in there in case I have to switch bags in a hurry.
En realidad no cargo con tantas cosas por que no me gusta traer una bolsa pesada, pero trato de concentrarme en lo esencial. Primero que nada: my cartera por que, pues, dinero (Nine West). Y hablando de peso, guardo mis lentes en un estuche de Ray-Ban de otros lentes sólo por el hecho de que es ligera y no ocupa tanto espacio como otras. Mis lentes son unos aviadores de Steve Madden que conseguí en sale y rápido fueron mis favoritos. También me llevo a todos lados el cargador del cel (y el cel, obvio) por que ya sabemos que la batería no dura nada. Por último, cargo con mi bolsa de maquillaje/lo-que-sea, la cual tiene otras cosas que normalmente uso el resto del día. Es mucho más fácil guardar esas cositas importantes ahí en caso de que tenga que cambiar de bolsa rápido.

I got my makeup bag a while ago from Forever 21, though I'm not sure if they're still available, its size is average but it can really keep quite some products. Normally whatever I carry inside it just changes over time (quite fast, actually), but things like these are what I use the most or that I find easy to put in there when I head out. First thing is a contact lenses case that has a little mirror, which comes pretty handy. A little nail file for mani emergencies cause it's pretty annoying to spend the day out with a crooked fingernail. To quick trips to the bathroom I carry my Bath & Body Works hand gel that smells just like summer and a little hair brush. And for makeup products, I obviously don't use the same things every day, but I kind of stick to things that go along with the type of makeup that I'll be wearing for a long time. Most importantly, face powder (Mineralize Skinfinish by MAC in Medium) and concealer (Maybelline Fit Me in Sand). I use my fingers to reapply this concealer cause it's really smooth, and since my skin is not greasy at all I just use a little powder with this super cute animal print puff.
Mi bolsa de maquillaje la conseguí en Forever 21, pero no estoy muy segura si todavía hayan disponibles, su tamaño es mediano pero de verdad puedes guardar muchas cosas. Normalmente todo lo que guardo aquí cambia con el tiempo (bastante rápido, de hecho), pero cosas como estas son las que más uso o que encuentro fácil de meter ahí cuando salgo. Lo primero es un estuche para lentes de contacto que tiene un espejo, lo cual es bastante útil. Una lima de uñas pequeña para emergencias por que es muy molesto andar todo el día fuera con una uña rota. Para idas rápidas al baño siempre cargo con mi gel sanitario de Bath & Body Works que huele a verano y un cepillito de pelo. De maquillaje obviamente no uso lo mismo todos los días, pero trato de llevarme lo que más quede con lo que uso casi siempre. Lo más importante: polvo facial (Mineralize Skinfinish de MAC en Medium) y corrector (Maybelline Fit Me en Sand). Para el corrector uso mis dedos por que está muy suave, y como mi piel no es nada grasosa, sólo necesito un pequeño puff para aplicar polvo en esa área.
I may not change everything daily but I keep throwing in lipsticks so by the end of the month I'll probably have like 7 different lipsticks, however, I try to carry at least 2 that go with a normal neutral eye in case I need to pimp myself a bit. Also, mascara is really important to me if I'm gonna be out all day cause I find it tends to go away for some reason. My favorite mascara for daytime is The Colossal by Maybelline, it just looks pretty natural and makes my lashes look decently long, not spidery or anything. And finally, a hair band of course.
Tal vez no cambie todo cada día pero siempre sigo metiendo labiales y a finales del mes termino con por lo menos 7 diferentes, de todos modos, siempre trato de llevar al menos dos que pueda usar con cualquier look neutral en caso de necesitar pimpearme. También, la máscara de pestañas es muy importante para mí si voy a salir todo el día ya que por alguna razón siento que se desvanece con el paso del día. Mi favorita es The Colossal de Maybelline, se ve muy natural y hace mis pestañas decentemente largas, nada de patas de araña o así. Y finalmente, una liga para el pelo, obviamente.
