With the current spring vibe running through my head and my all time obsession with nail polish, I had to separate a few colors that I know I'll be wearing constantly these days. And most importantly, I find that these specific ones last the longest on my nails, which wouldn't really matter since I change nail color more than twice a week (or more!).

Y lo más importante, siento que éstos en específico me duran más en las uñas, lo cual no debería importar cuando cambio de color más de dos veces por semana (¡o más!).
These colors look pretty vibrant with a white base, some of them really need 2 good coats but the color payoff is still quite intense for these colors, considering that most light polishes need 3 or more coats to actually show off as on the bottles. The reason I chose these nail polishes is that I never seem to have a problem with chipped nails or anything like that from these brands. And everything gets better when you see they dry amazingly fast.
Estos colores se ven muy vibrantes con un abase blanca, unos necesitan por lo menos dos capas pero la intensidad del color es casi igual para todos, considerando que muchos esmaltes así de claros tienden a necesitar más de 3 capas para no verse deslavados. La razón por la que escogí estos esmaltes es por que nunca me pasa que se caigan pedazos de esmalte o algo parecido con estas marcas. Y todo se pone mejor cuando te das cuenta que aparte se secan muy rápido.
My first pick on the list is Burst My Bubble by Nina Ultra Pro. I recently purchased this one and I've been loving it ever since, the color shows off on the very first coat, but still sheer enough to not make it look like wall paint. The best thing about the Nina nail polishes is that, not so long ago, they decided to improve their image and renovated the brush, so now we have this brilliant flat brush that makes nail polish application so easy and fast, covering the whole nail in one slip.
Mi primera elección en la lista es Burst My Bubble de Nina Ultra Pro. Recientemente compré este esmalte y lo he amado desde ahí, el color se nota desde la primera pasada, pero suficientemente claro como para no parecer pintura de pared. Lo mejor de los esmaltes de Nina es que, no hace mucho, decidieron mejorar su imagen y renovaron la brocha, entonces ahora tienes esta brillante brocha plana que hace que la aplicación del esmalte sea mucho más rápida y fácil, cubriendo la uña entera en una pasada.
But before I had a love for that pink nail polish, my best option was Lilac-ing Discipline by Nina Ultra Pro. This is the perfect lilac/lavender girly color that every woman should own. Its looks amazingly perfect in just one coat (although I'd recommend two, just in case) and with the flat brush you get your nails done in a matter of seconds. It dries so fast that gives you time for a second coat once you're done with the other hand. This color is the only nail polish that I've worn more than once in a row.
Pero antes de tenerle amor al esmalte rosa, mi primera opción era Lilac-ing Discipline de Nina Ultra Pro. Este es el color lila/lavanda súper girly perfecto que toda mujer debe tener. Se ve muy bien con sólo una pasada (aunque yo recomendaría dos, por si las dudas) y la brocha plana te ayuda a tener las uñas listas en cuestión de segundos. Se seca tan rápido que mientras terminas la otra mano ya puedes continuar con la segunda capa. Este es el único esmalte que he usado más de una vez seguida.
And if you're not so much into the coral trend, you can still go for orangey tones that will look great even in summer with tanned skin and the sun hitting its light on you. Peachy Keen by China Glaze is a soft orange color whose formula is strong to fall into a sheer category, but still looks gentle enough to stay in the pastel/spring list. This nail polish lasts so long that you could even take on vacation not having to worry about it chipping off.
Y si no estás muy animada de la trend coral, aún puedes optar por usar tonos naranja que se ven muy bien incluso en verano con la piel bronceada y el sol lanzándote su luz. Peachy Keen de China Glaze es un naranja muy suave con una fórmula muy fuerte como para caer en la categoría de los tonos claros, pero que aún se ve lo suficientemente modesto como para la lista de pasteles/primaverales. Este esmalte dura tanto que incluso puedes llevártelo de vacaciones sin tener que preocuparte de que se caigan pedazos.
If I ever struggled with finding a nail polish, it was because of Re-Fresh Mint by China Glaze. Every time I went to the store it was always out of stock, and I kept buying similar tones and ended up hating them (but why would I buy a color I don't need? Because why not?!). So the day of my glory came and this baby was in stock so I got it and painted my nails right away. Something I've seen in many pastel colors by China Glaze is that their formulas are quite strong, one coat of this fully covers the nail, but it's still better to apply two coats just to make sure that the nail doesn't have spaces where the brush took off some color as you swept it.
Si alguna vez batallé para conseguir un esmalte, fue con Re-Fresh Mint de China Glaze. Cada vez que iba a comprarlo siempre se les había terminado, y yo seguía comprando tonos parecidos y acababa odiándolos (pero, ¿por qué compraría un color que no necesito? Porque ¡¿por qué no?!). Entonces mi día de gloria llegó y este bebé estaba en existencia en la tienda, así que lo compré e inmediatamente me pinté las uñas. Algo que he notado de los esmaltes de China Glaze es que la fórmula es muy intensa, una capa te puede cubrir toda la uña, aunque es preferible aplicarse dos para asegurarte de que la uña no tiene espacios donde la brocha pasó y al pintar se llevó tantito esmalte.
I remember one day while watching The Hills, Whitney Port was wearing all black clothes and a super shiny sky blue nail polish that just made her hands pop on TV. This led me to the infamous For Audrey by China Glaze, which used to be my favorite baby blue until I found Blue-ming by Color Club, cause it's slightly more blue-ish. Color Club nail polishes dry the fastest but not all of them last for a long time, however, the color payoff on one coat is really intense but not as thick as a China Glaze formula. This color is less on the pastel side, which can be paired quite well with dark tones on winter.
Recuerdo que un día estaba viendo The Hills y Whitney Port traía sólo ropa negra y un esmalte azul cielo que brillaba tanto que sus manos se notaban mucho en la televisión. Esto me llevó al famoso For Audrey de China Glaze, el cual fue mi azul favorito hasta que me encontré con Blue-ming de Color Club, ya que este tono es un poco más azul-esco. Los esmaltes de Color Club se secan muy rápido pero no todos duran mucho tiempo, de todos modos, la intensidad del color es muy fuerte en una aplicación sin una fórmula gruesa como la de China Glaze. Este color no está tan inclinado al lado pastel, por lo que puedes acompañarlo muy bien con tonos obscuros en invierno.
To wrap the rainbow party we're having here, I couldn't skip the perfect yellow: Almost Famous by Color Club. I got this in a mini size cause I wasn't sure about yellow on my hands, but I have to say I've loved it so much and this one even looks great on toes. The yellow is so intense and the formula for this is not thick at all, the color slips quite well on the nail and covers it perfectly. If you're not a fan of crazy neon yellow colors but still want something that stands out, then this banana colored nail polish is perfect for you.
Para terminar con la fiesta de arcoiris que estamos teniendo aquí, no me podía saltar al amarillo perfecto: Almost Famous de Color Club. Compré este en un tamaño mini por que no estaba segura de cómo se vería en mis manos el amarillo, pero debo decir que me gustó mucho e incluso se ve muy bien en las uñas de los pies. El amarillo es tan intenso y la fórmula para éste no es para nada gruesa, el color se desliza con facilidad en la uña y la cubre perfectamente bien. Si no te gustan mucho los amarillos neón locos pero quieres algo que resalte, entonces este esmalte color banana es perfecto para ti.
