My skincare routine changes very frequently, sometimes a bit more often than I think it should. It is almost amazing to me to stick to certain products for a month, so whenever it happens I feel like I must share it. This was the case with these two face creams from Shiseido that I received a while ago and I have not stopped using them since then.

It almost feels super boujee to say that my day and night cream are from Shiseido, a brand that I had been wanting to try but, let's face it, it's a bit out of my budget. Luckily I got sent the Benefiance Day Cream with SPF23 and the White Lucent Cream Mask for Night about a month ago and of course I dived right in as soon as I could to start trying them out. The packaging on both seems a little too bulky for my taste but I can ignore that because I actually LOVE the products. I normally apply a serum before them, wether it is something hydrating in the daytime or something targeted to my pimples at night, the last step in my routine are these Shiseido face creams that give my skin a luminous finish.

Por suerte, me enviaron la Benefiance Day Cream con SPF23 y la White Lucent Cream Mask for Night hace un mes y por supuesto las comencé a usar tan pronto como pude para probarlas. El empaque en las dos me parece un tanto abultado para mi gusto pero lo puedo ignorar porque realmente AMO los productos. Normalmente aplico un suero antes de ellas, ya sea algo hidratante para el día o algo más enfocado a mis espinillas para la noche, el último paso siempre son estas dos cremas de Shiseido que dejan mi cara con un acabado luminoso.
Shiseido Benefiance Day Cream SPF23
I've been a very big fan lately of skipping makeup primer and using something smoothing on my skin instead. The Benefiance Day Cream not only has a very decent SPF23 but also a lovely luminous finish and a smooth but dense texture that leaves my skin soft and glowy, perfectly prepared to put makeup on or simply leave it that way. Although it has sun protection I still add my SPF50 every morning just to give it a bit more protection. Since I started using this day cream I've noticed my skin with a more plump appearance, even hours after I applied it (and makeup) my skin still looks fresh and soft. There was this day that I forgot to apply highlighter on my cheekbones but I actually had a very pretty glow from within that I can assure you it was all because of this cream. Also, it is non-comedogenic so it means it won't randomly break you out.
He sido muy fan últimamente de saltarme la pre-base de maquillaje y mejor usar algo que alise mi piel. La Benefiance Day Cream no solo tiene un muy decente FPS23 sino también un acabado luminoso y una textura suave pero densa que deja mi piel lisa y brillante, perfectamente preparada para ponerme maquillaje o dejarla así como está. Aunque tiene protección solar aún así agrego mi FPS50 cada mañana solo para darle algo más de protección. Desde que empecé a usar esta crema de día me he dado cuenta de que mi piel tiene una apariencia más nutrida, incluso horas después de haberla aplicado (y maquillaje) mi piel sigue viéndose fresca y suave. Hubo un día que se me olvidó por completo ponerme iluminador en los pómulos pero de hecho traía un glow súper lindo desde adentro y puedo asegurar que fue todo por esta crema. Y también, es no-comedogénica, lo que significa que no te va a sacar granos de la nada.
Shiseido White Lucent Cream Mask for Night
Night time skincare is my favorite because I feel a lot more free to sandwich products and let them act all night while I sleep. This White Lucent Cream Mask is by far one of my favorite skincare products ever—and I know that's a huge claim! It has a gel like texture, very light and easy to absorb, and oh man, I cannot remember the last time my skin had looked so glowy at night without using oils. This night treatment helps to hydrate and brighten dull skin so that you wake up with a fresh and bouncy face. It also promises to help with dark spots and, believe me, I have like a million marks from leftover acne scars and I have definitely noticed them going away. I only use a hydrating serum with this night cream and just recently started to incorporate Niacinamide (which also helps to get rid of dark spots). Since it is a mask, I sometimes apply a very thick layer before bed and you can see an immediate result in the morning with a brighter and more even skin.
El skincare de noche es mi favorito porque siento más libertad en aplicarme varios productos y dejarlos actuar mientras duermo. Ya que es una mascarilla, a veces aplico una capa muy gruesa antes de dormir y puedes ver un resultado inmediato en la mañana con una piel más iluminada y un tono uniforme.
