As we reach the end of the decade I've been noticing a lot of early 00s trends making a comeback, specially in makeup. First it was gloss, then it was skipping contour, and we've made it to the point where silver eyeshadow is a thing. Of course I had to create a look.
Entre más nos acercamos al final de la década me he dado cuenta que muchas de las tendencias del inicio de los 00s están volviendo, en especial en maquillaje. Primero fue el gloss, luego saltarse el contour y ahora hemos llegado al punto donde la sombra plateada ya es relevante. Obviamente tenía que hacer un look.
I used the Smashbox Edit Eyeshadow Trio in Punked for the eye look, which has the perfect silver eyeshadow for this type of look. It is definitely a cool-toned makeup overall so I found it a little hard to incorporate some warmth to my face without it clashing with the eyes, although I think I did a decent job. Usé el Edit Eyeshadow Trio de Smashbox en Punked para el look de ojos, el cual tiene la sombra plateada perfecta para un look de este tipo. Definitivamente es un maquillaje en tonos fríos en general, por lo que se me dificultó incorporar algo de calidez a mi rostro sin que chocara con los ojos, aunque creo que hice un trabajo decente.
