Hollywood Red

Red, the classiest lip color in our makeup stash. If I ever feel confident enough to wear a bright lip, it must be red. A few days ago I wore a very similar makeup but used Rebel instead. Now with the weather warming up a little more, I felt like I needed to add more life to the lips. The inspiration to the whole look was Bobbi Brown's Hollywood Red, a new favorite of mine. 

Rojo, lo más classy de labiales en nuestro escondite de maquillaje. Si acaso llego a sentirme lo suficientemente confiada para llevar labios brillantes, entonces debe ser rojo. Hace unos días me hice un look muy similar pero usé Rebel. Ahora con el clima calentándose un poco más, sentí que tenía que agregar algo de vida a los labios. La inspiración para el look fue Hollywood Red de Bobbi Brown, un nuevo favorito para mí.

The lipstick has a sheer formula but a great color payoff, I only used a little bit of lip pencil to shape the edges. For the eyes, I used warm toned eyeshadows first as a base and then went over the same areas with a similar color with a cool tone. This is more noticeable in the crease where the brown eyeshadow extends more to the outside and the cool tone is used to add deepness. I kept the rest of the face really fresh and just bronzed to add color and highlight to the cheeks without looking like a disco ball. 

El labial tiene una fórmula muy fina pero con un color intenso, sólo usé un poco de lápiz de labios para darle forma a las orillas. Para los ojos, usé primero sombras con tonos cálidos como base y luego pasé por encima con un color similar de tono frío. Esto es más notorio en las cuencas donde la sombra café se extiende más hacia afuera y el tono frío se usa para agregar profundidad. Mantuve el resto de la cara muy fresca y sólo usé bronceador para dar color e iluminar las mejillas sin parecer bola de disco.
